Painkillers?

Scientists say that emotional pain is just as bad as physical pain and that is the most accurate thing I have heard since they said the earth is round-come fight me flat-earthers. I have had busted knees, a dislocated finger, incessant pesky migraines and I still would choose them over emotional pain time and time again. The sad thing is there simply isn’t enough aspirin in the world to remedy emotional pain-if only failing captcha turned you into a robot and in that spirit, Autobots, Assemble!!!

Motivational speakers drone on and on about what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, so did Kelly Clarkson by the way, and as much as its coming from a good place it sucks to admit that sometimes the pain does waaay (with extra a’s) more than just make a point that not being around feels like the lesser evil-don’t get me wrong though, I am in no way whatsoever the devil’s advocate. As a believer, the good book says that the big guy upstairs can’t give you more than you can handle. I like to believe that these masters of all that’s holy and literary got that right and it is safe to say that is what keeps most us going when life pulls a KPLC on the light at the end of the tunnel.

If going on a cruise across the world is going to help you feel better do it. Feel like a tattoo is gonna help, go crazy-perhaps consider a temporary one just to be safe-imagine having a forever 18 tattoo at 80. Don’t even get me started on hair dyeing. It is well documented that the best memories come from bad decisions its only logical that sometimes healing would take the same spotted path-don’t listen to me though I am very sleep deprived.

How you deal with said big sad is a different kettle of fish altogether. We all have different ways to cope and I like to think that whatever works, works-unless of course its illegal, hurts someone or is fattening-that was a joke.

When all is said and done, you do you-whatever you need to be okay and as a rapper friend of mine once said, life is a gift but we call it a bitch. Don’t exist, LIVE….
